Styrian Thermal Region

Well-being, indulging, conquering back the sensation of living - this is the simple motto of the Styrian Thermal Region south of the provincial capital of Graz. Probably Austria‘s healthiest region,

it is famous for its mild, almost mediterranean climate and its appealing landscape.

The Styrian Thermal Region is centered on five popular spa and thermal resorts:

  • the thermal hydro Bad Waltersdorf,
  • the Rogner Bath Blumau,
  • the family hydro Loipersdorf,
  • the spa resort Bad Gleichenberg and
  • the park hydro Bad Radkersburg.

The offer is more than comprehensive - the choice is yours: From luxury-class hotels to reasonably priced bed & breakfast establishments and farmhouses.

Generously designed thermal bathing complexes, saunas and wellness installations make it easy to indulge oneself and feel good. In addition to numerous holistic health, wellness and spa treatments a series of attractive beauty, vitality and fitness programmes are offered.

However, thermal springs are just part of the incredibly varied and attractive holiday offer of this region. Softly sloping hills and pristine river landscapes invite to discovery tours by bicycle, on horseback or simply on foot.

And to gain back your energy, countless wine taverns, castle restaurants and country inns await you.
