Should any malfunction or failure occur, it would have an adverse impact on the system as a whole requiring those making use of the drainage services to assume more responsibilities in the form of additional construction and related costs and, on the part of the authorities, in imposition of fines.
During operation, the reasons giving rise to malfunctioning should be searched for and detected and the optimal solution for eliminating shortcomings must be found and implemented to prevent any further occurrence at the outset.
In designing future networks, it seems justified to take preliminary operational expertise into considerations so that, as a consequence of proper preparations, such an optimal network can be achieved that ensures a trouble-free operation because the influencing factors have been taken account to the widest possible extent.
