Water as a valuable raw material has to be transported to the consumers in growing quantities over growing distances. This requires higher flow rates at a steady functionality and operability of the fittings, i.e. the gate valves in particular.

And that’s the secret of the E2 Valve DN 600. The technical designers of Hawle managed to develop a gate valve with a clear and unobstructed bore of this dimension without any amplifier gear. A specifically designed spindle bearing provides for minimum closing forces and an effective load of the fitting amounting to the actuating moment.

The Hawle E2 DN 600, which is suitable for underground installation in various positions, is available with three different actuating accessories: with rigid telescopic extension spindles, with handwheel or, upon request, with electric drive.

For slow filling of the piping, which may sometimes be necessary, there is the Hawle E2 DN 600 with a DN 50 bypass as a special equipment, with the actuating moment not being influenced by the bypass.

Once again Hawle’s specialists succeeded in developing a new fitting that is accurately adjusted to the requirements of the market, and that meets these requirements down the line in the typical Hawle manner – "one step ahead".
