Hasenleithner’s responsibilities are market development, technological steering, consulting, and operation. The civil engineer is also managing director of Energie AG Bohemia and chairman of the board of VaK JC and holds further mandates at WDL, LWU (board of directors) and VaK Beroun.

Andreas Neiß’ fields of responsibility at Energie AG Wasser include controlling, finances and the development of financing models. The graduated mechanical engineer and economist also acts as managing director of Energie AG Bohemia and is member of the board of VaK JC, Since 1997, Neiß has also worked for the Department of Controlling and Financing of Energie AG OÖ.

Rainer Wiedemann (48) from Germany was hired for market development and for the development of Public-Private-Partnership models in Austria, Hungary, and in Slovakia. The geologist and doctor of natural sciences is from the trade and was until recently managing director of aquaplus. Before that, Wiedemann worked for many years as engineering and business manager for different national and international affiliates of the AVE Group.

Since 2004, Thomas Kriegner (29) has been closely connected with the water activities of Energie AG. There, the management expert is responsible for marketing and business development. In 2005, he was also appointed to the board of LWU AG. In this function, he succeeds Christian Hasenleithner, who changed over to the board of directors of the Upper Austrian water supplier LWU AG.

The management team of Energie AG Wasser plans to implement the following goals until 2008: l further development of the market position in Austria,

• “conquest” of the top- second position in the Czech water market,
• successful entry in the Hungarian and Slovakian market,
• increase of the number of supplied people to 1.5 million.
