| Prizes are awarded by the Brussels-based European Foundation for Quality Management/EFQM (www.efqm.org). EFQM’s declared mission is to encourage European companies to go for excellent business performance and support them on their way. The awards seek to recognise excellence in customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction, impact on society and, of course, operating results. In competing with 26 other finalists, Grundfos not only won this year’s main prize, the EFQM Excellence Award, but was also honoured for its achievements in “Corporate Social Responsibility” and “People Development & Involvement”.
