Lock chamber
The lock chamber lay-out dimensions are 110.00 x 24.00 m, and its is based in the traditional classification of the Vah water route. At the upper outset the lock chamber has a flap gate and at the lower outset there is a strut gate. Both are hydraulic-cylinder operated. The whole facility is controlled from a common control room situated at the left wing of the lower outset.

Small hydroelectric power plant
It utilises sanitary flow under the Kralova water work (7 m3.s-1) and a part of flow from the Kralova hydro-electric power plant. The small hydroelectric power plant is situated between the lower outset of the lock chamber and the flap weir. It is equipped by two straight-flow Kaplan turbines. The maximal turbine output is 271 kW. The amount of annual electric power generation is 2,474,000 kWh.

Weir
The flap section of the weir consists of two fields 12.0 m wide. It is used to maintain the operating water level on river Vah upstream the Selice water work. Jointly with the solid cascade it is used for regulated water passage through the work.

Solid cascade
It replaces the original bag weir design which could not have been built for economic reasons. It comprises a sheet-pile wall with a rip-rap reinforcement, and its upper altitude level is 110.40 m . The so called solid cascade is 246.00 m long.

Sport-craft facility
It is a spillway permitting sport-crafts and fish passage. This facility is built at the point where the solid cascade is embedded in the left bank of Vah.
