 Sand Filter Helps Solve Phosphorous Problem in Sweden
A community in southern Sweden faced a considerable environmental problem in the form of excessive levels of phosphorous in its local lake system. It's tackled this, firstly, by dredging the lakes and, secondly, by building a brand new sewage treatment plant which incorporates a two-stage phosphorous removal process.
