 Treatment of Workshop Wastewater
Micro-organisms love to feed on oils and fats; this is not new. New, however, is that mineral-oil containing wastewater can be treated at low cost in bioreactor plants!

Low-cost Bioreactor: Modular construction allows custom-made design © Bohmann/API/UTech

Since only biomass is produced in this process, biological wastewater treatment is at the same time the most environmentally friendly method on the market. Due to low operation and maintenance costs this method is particularly interesting for garages, car-washes and cleansing stations.

These plants are available with a flow capacity of 250 to 2,000 l/h. Modular construction allows custom-made design. (Source: aqua press Int. 3/2001)
