The lobbying organisation has therefore established a Task Force on Climate Change some time ago and most recently expressed its commitment by hosting the symposium “Climate Change & Water” for the first time in October. This symposium was founded on the initiative of Richard Seeber, President of the European Parliament’s Intergroup on Water.
High-ranking officials from the European Commission’s DG Environment, the EBRD, water utilities and the agricultural industry attended the event, thereby assuring that the information was delivered to the right people.

Another important message was that climate change adjustment strategies always need to be developed in light of regional conditions.
